Chicago Police said an officer killed two individuals Saturday amid a meeting with a "confrontational subject" - including a 55-year-old lady whom they concede they shot "incidentally" and "heartbreakingly," the office said.
The police said that around 4:25 a.m. today, officers reacted to a "household aggravation" on West Erie Road and were "defied by an aggressive subject."
"Upon entry, officers were faced by a confrontational subject bringing about the releasing of the officer's weapon, lethally injuring two people," the announcement said.
