If you have opposition with the appointed question then you need to ask yourself, do you have manners or not. Just in case your parents did not straighten out this rope right, here is the better advice. 'Absolutely a no go'. Always excuse self from the scene and find a nearby restroom.
I would never condone holding 'rotten wind' in as healthy but if so, an apology would be the next step. Theory recognizes that people view one by his or her character. Who would want to bring unnecessary attention to themselves on purpose. Most certainly not me.
